AFC Dukes’ newly formed U11 Sunday WLPL side made an impressive start to their competitive journey with victory over The Chosen One Academy in their ENG FA Cup qualifier.

In their first competitive fixture together, the team delivered a composed, high-quality performance from start to finish and showed exactly why this group has been formed.

With five different goalscorers and four different players providing assists, the performance highlighted the quality, depth and attacking threat throughout the squad.

The U11 Elite side has been created to give talented young players the opportunity to challenge themselves at a higher level, competing against strong academy and elite opposition while continuing their development within AFC Dukes.

It marks another exciting step in the growth of our youth section as we continue to create pathways for players at every level — from those taking their first steps into football through to players looking to push themselves in a more demanding competitive environment.

The first challenge is complete. Next up: Round One of the ENG FA Cup.

Up The Dukes.
